Concur. Been telling every single person that same thing for years and yet to have someone listen to me. I've only known a few tradesman who couldn't make ends meet and they were...less than competent at their chosen profession. Plumbers, carpenter's, electricians, metalworkers etc. correct me if I'm wrong.

As a Criminology major, I find it funny that you thought a degree would be helpful. Unless you want to be a cop or work in a prison, or work with people that have been in prison, there isn't dick just with a crim/cj degree. I'm minoring in Information Assurance, which is what is booming right now (think cyber crime, etc.)

Also, if there are more people going to technical schools, there will be more NY STYLZ in the world. Frightening thought.

That being said, I do agree with you that there aren't enough. Mike Rowe spoke to congress about this very subject, and basically said that with everybody thinking any college degree will get them $60k right out of school (laugh), there are less and less technical workers in their field, and those who are in the field will be able to charge $100/hr. They can do that because 1) not enough competition and b) Many of my peers dont know dick about how shit works other than facebook and youtube.

I am in the gym for an hour in a half to 2 hours a day 6 days a week depending on the day. Usually 1 hour resistance training, 30 min cardio and 20 min or so warm up and streaching. My fat cells are shrinking and the muscles are growing. ;)

Just got to see my aunt in the ICU, they already have started to wake her up and she's already becoming more alert. Recognized me and my mom right away. Her first question was "did they do it (the operation)?" When I told her yes she just smiled. The surgeon told us if her heart was too bad they wouldn't do the triple bypass and she was scared they wouldn't do it

X2... and I have been working in the construction industry before child labor laws would allow.

"the most significant socio-economic challenge ahead of us in Canada."

and he is 100% correct. You will never hear that in the US. We just want to consume

    this

and at 18 you decided to take it further and focus your skill building to suit your needs.

How many kids are on here that got a free Tacoma from mom & dad and have zero focus on their own future because they are still allowed to be dependent?

I'm not really being age-ist. But you'll fit right into that thread in, uh, what, 5 years from now?

Regardless of age, now I just think everyone is retarded until they prove otherwise. Have I told you that I think unemployment is still insanely low, and should be around 50%, if we based in on performance?
