You should see what happened. But it will probably be done this week, I think they said that to cover themselves in case they don't get it done. They're starting work on it tomorrow. I'm pumped to get my truck back!

Are there any stores left that sell car stereos besides Best Buy? I think any other place I can think of either doesn't carry them anymore or doesn't even exist anymore.

 

radioshack carries select pioneer stuff.. all the connectors youll need too.. at least mine does.

 

Just saw a LT 2nd gen all glassed out front and bed sides with two tires in the back drive down the strip, rigid bar on windshield and bar on the tube bumper. truck was blue

 

Last time I was in vegas my now wife and I were using my parents comp room at Caesers...when we were checking in they had to call my parents to confirm we could use the room...I said to let me talk or my dad will hang up...so I said (So the desk clerk could hear me) "Dad, you know how you gave us that room as an engagement present? Well they just need to confirm that..."
The woman said "Oh, your celebrating your new engagement?' (we had been engaged for a little over a year at that point...)
We were upgraded to a Palace Tower Suite that was like 900sqft, 2 levels, a full glass wall with a strip view on like the 20th floor...It had a giant his and hers bathrooms connected by a walk through shower (with like 10 shower heads)...5 minutes after getting to the room they delivered a gift basket full of things we priced out at over $500 in the forum shops...We stayed 3 nights and on check out our bill was $96....It was $30 a night (the special deal) and a single phone call...
The kicker was I won $700 on a giant slot machine at once casino and over $1500 playing cards at another...and dropped over $1000 at Caesars so as far as they were concerned I was giving it back...but I ended up coming home up over $500...it was crazy awesome....
I am glad my wife doesn't like to gamble or we would be making far too many trips to the craps table in CT...

 

Sweet..the one time I went I stayed at Aladdin. My sister at the time had a nice hookup, got me this killer suite for about $50 a night. Got married at Circus Circus..

There are still some car specialty places around like soundfx in Warwick, but its a lot cheaper to buy things online. I went to the store to check out the head unit I wanted, then bought it online for a couple hundred dollars cheaper

 

I know that Sears sometimes has a decent enough car audio set up that allows you to check out some things...but shopping tourists that visit the store and then buy online are the reason there are not a lot of hands on displays...The best buy in Marlboro by the Solomon Pond Mall was pathetic...They had 3 displays with about 10 head units each...2 of the entire displays had no power and the 3rd one could only select 1 of 2 speaker setups that actually worked...the whole thing was ghetto junk...
Try Lechmere, or Caldor, or Mars, or Rich's...

 

Group buy people are getting restless because one person was concerned this took so long. This is fucking stupid. You've waited 2 months, what's another 2 weeks?

The more times I go around the sun the less I think of myself as old...When I was 18 37 seemed old...but once you get into your late 20's everything is the same until your 50's...

Also WalMart sometimes has a car audio display...
