If you find out let me know, mine is 13.5".

Guess that's why "up to" was used:

"The system is capable of achieving up to 15” of vertical wheel travel"

Correct me if I'm wrong please, but aren't linked vehicles illegal on the road?

Well that is disappointing... although I only have like 8" of travel right now so I would be happy with that.

You are wrong, many stock vehicles come from the factory linked. 1 for example, toyota 4 runner.

Giant Motorsports makes one, but it isn't as bolt on as Defined's.

I'd be willing to be if you stepped down on the axle it would get a little more travel. If you were to jump it without limit straps in the rear you would have inertia, tires, and shocks pulling the leafs down. Right now you have an arced spring sitting at a static position...

Hmmmmm that makes alot of sense. If anything...strap it out to 14.5 so the leafs don't get messed up...or strap to 15" if Defined took into account the full 15" of travel. Interesting. Maaaaaaan I need to hurry up and start my new job so I can pay off the truck and get my 4x4!!

Links look great! I would try and put two bends in the lower plate. More ground clearance at bump, even 1/2" is alot when rocks are everywhere and welding up new links SUCKS!

    ...too much shit to list.
Did you put a slip yoke in your driveshaft? If not, any chance that's binding?
Run thru the same droop exercise with the ds unbolted and two of your buddies standing on each side of the axle at droop.

Don't think thats the problem. Either has a slip joke or it slips in the tranny and once it goes past the splines it will fall out on the ground...

    We're not linked.
My ds gets shorter as I droop till my leafs splay out. Once you go past a certain point then yes, it starts extending again...but again, not linked so that doesn't happen.
