    I am about to order a set of XD addicts and I currently have 285 70 17s with wheel spacers on the stock sport rims. Should I keep the wheel spacers or not with the new rims?


    New wheels specs: 17x9, 4.5" backspacing, -12mm offset

    Get rid of spacers cause your new wheels will fit just right with those specs. ;)

    I figured that was the case. I just like the look of the tire poking out a little further than normal

    Keeping the spacers on with those new wheels will lead to a good deal of rubbing on the outer edge of the tire.

    what if I have already trimmed alot of the front fender? Will it still rub?

    1.25" spidertrax. Im going to keep them at first and I guess we'll see what happens! :rolleyes:

    With the new wheels you will already be sticking out the fenders about 1-1.5"s so I think with the spidertraxx that would be overkill IMO. I have 18x9"s with 4.5 BS and a -12MM offset and I love the stance it has right now.

    I hear ya.. Its easier to take them off if I dont like them rather than taking them off, and then putting them back on to see what they would look like. Thanks for the help!

    Oh yeah. TW Mebmer Zombie runner tried running 285's with a 3" lift, -12 offset, and spidertrax, and couldn't even turn out of his driveway :laugh:
