    If you keep going down there is another division of the country into the standard federal regions....and guess what region Idaho is in that map? The one with Washington and Oregon. Sooooo major inconsistencies on the same page? Gets us nowhere lol


    Here's that map. At least it doesent include Cali and Hawaii in the same region as Oregon as Washington.

    According to that California and Hawaii are also in the same region, so are we including those in the Pacific Northwest? Because they are all in the same region for the census?

    Good job on a solid reference, but they didn't do you much good due to the fact that they includes cali and Hawaii in the same region you are trying to prove Idaho is not a part of

    Well hawaii IS west of the cascades, and has tributaries that flow into the pacific...and it's not called idaho, so clearly it's in the pnw.

    This debate isn't about California, Hawaii or Alaska. It's about Idaho which is not a part of the PNW per the governments links provided. Idaho is in fact a mountain state or mountain-mid west state.

    See above. I see why you want to go that route tho. You might have a chance to win the argument that Hawaii is not in the PNW.

    Idaho is a Northwest State!!! So Idaho is a NORTHWEST MOUNTAIN STATE!!!
    It depends on what mountain range you define as a PACIFIC NORTHWEST
    Border CASCADES OR ROCKIES??? Many maps go both ways!!!
    And just an opinion but the ROCKIES matter more in mother earth so you
    want to talk water it all starts with the ROCKY MOUNTAINS!!!
    Idaho is a great place so your argument is what MT. RANGE you use as border.
