In most west coast states, I see a line of cars and were all just trying to deal with some traffic. Along comes some tard flashing his lights like 12,000 (figuratively) cars will move for him. Or, I'm passing a car....based on my speed IS faster and I am going by the car reasonably faster... and some jerk thinks its not fast enough and just wants to be an ass. I put zero value in flashing lights like that, and wont put myself in that position.

As far as slower traffic keep right , too many people think that they can go 10mph faster and everyone has to move over. Not true, everyone is already going 5-10 over the speed limit usually, 15-25 mph over has no right to go faster.

I'm not a cop, nor do I give a shit at this point about it. I have been in contact with too many DIRTY cops to know to stay the fuck away from LEO's. Some of the charges people get are horrendous.

I'm glad this officer was held accountable. THAT IS ALL>

If a LEO is involved, someones getting held accountable right or wrong.

I'm not stopping for an out of state cop. Thats for damn sure.

I'll take the negative rep, its the internet... Be safe OFFICER>

I did not see anything emotional about 650H1's responses. Yours however were absolutely coming from an emotional place...

The cop in the video acted very inappropriately and has since quit his job. Even the officer KNEW he was in the wrong, that's not debatable.

It is very clear that you feel a SERIOUS moral need to "police the police" if you will... Which comes from a good place, I'm sure...

However, some things need to be pointed out, the officer, if he felt the driver was being unsafe, could have taken a different route. I am not extremely familiar with jurisdiction laws, but I know that if an officer sees something that is immediately unsafe or threatening, they can respond appropriately, up to and including detainment, under some circumstances, regardless of jurisdiction. Another thing to take into consideration, is that some jurisdictions (municipalities/states) have agreements with neighboring municipalities/states that extend both groups' jurisdictions. I'm not saying this falls into that category, but I can't say for certain that it doesn't.

Here is my big issue with the stance you're taking...

You posted about how you documented and wrote letters regarding no enforcement of drivers breaking traffic laws that pertain to school bus loading/unloading. That's a very understandable concern to have (child safety). You seem very upset that your complaints went unheeded, even mocked, but consider that the majority of police departments, as well as fire and ems, are astoundingly underfunded, understaffed, and overwhelmed with calls. There are many places that have 911 calls being put on hold, every day, because the call/incident volume far overwhelms the capabilities of the responding agencies. So, if there's 10 high priority 911 calls, and only 5 police units to handle them... then it's laughable to consider moving one of those units to post at a school and give out tickets. Think "big picture."

Now I do agree with you, those laws are there for a reason (kid's safety), and should be enforced. I understand why you'd want to do something about it.

One correct way to go about it
: maybe start a petition to introduce a ballot measure, locally, that increases taxes specifically to fund a school traffic enforcement division within the police department.

Probably the worst way to go about it:

Stand at the intersection and throw rocks at cars that you THINK broke a traffic law.

    ...Are you fucking kidding me?

You get furious when an on-duty cop parks in a red zone or handicapped sport to run into a coffee shop...

Yet you have the audacity to damage other people's property, because you witnessed, in your untrained and subjective opinion, a person break a traffic law...?

You, sir, are a hypocrite. How can you try to hold police to a certain standard, when you seem to think you are far above the law?

[EDIT: It seems skygear went back and deleted all of his posts... What I'm referring to is him stating that police in his area were not enforcing traffic laws at a school, despite his letter writing and photo evidence of drivers breaking thoses laws. So he decided to stand at the road, and when a car broke the traffic law in question, but didn't cause any accident or injury, he THREW A ROCK AT THE CAR, and was arrested for doing so.]
