    Auto's are stronger these days. Autos have higher tow ratings. Todays autos are faster in the 1/4 mile. Autos are alot less hassel to drive... stop and go traffic, etc.... Manuals are more fun in the curves. Manuals add excitement to the driving experience, MPG is a wash these days with the manual still returning slightly better. Manuals are cheaper to fix and maintain

    Actually a Auto will do a burnout easier if you know how to power brake ;)

    I've had my fair share of manuals over the years... don't miss them a bit these days.

    The manual transmissions in the Toyota Tacoma get less miles per gallon than the automatic.
