The other post is getting too long. Looking at a white DC Baja TRD. Dealer gave me MSRP 37,500 and invoice 35,400. I looked at the Tforce but really want white and locker. I think he left out the tow package. Max I going is 35 with tow pkg.. I am still trying to decide of I really need the Baja.

I will have to find a Baja to drive. I don't need to drive the none Baja because I do every day. I need to work on getting one without the side graphics. Not big on decals. Nada shows 2 different Baja options but only saw one on dealers list.

I have a white 2013 Baja on order with tow package. MSRP is $34 working on getting invoice pricing which is around $30 I believe. Hope it comes within the next 3 weeks.

I drove a Baja, and wasn't too impressed. So I bought a TRD Sport and did. Full OME lift. I don't know if its "better" than the Baja setup, but I like it better. Plus I saved money :)

How in the world di you find a Baja at 34 MSRP? They screwed up and did not add in the TRD which is required.

My bad, I guess you could get to 34 with an I4 manual. I tow a boat so have to have the 6. Do not need the DC any more but for the diff and resale it is worth it.

That's right. Access cab, 6 speed manual base +TRD off road+Baja. No entune, no quad cab. Should be good for me.

Nothing at all ********. Have fun contributing to it like you have so far [/QUOTE]

The only ******** in this thread is the guy who responded to a "What did you pay..." thread with replies on how much better and cheaper his own personal non-baja truck is.

There are plenty of baja bash threads already, go find one of those to contribute to. He's asking for prices, not opinions.

    Back to the $#'s...

$1800 and you would still have a truck with the stock wheels and tires. Add about $2,000 to that and then you would still have an inferior truck with no suspension warranty and possible vibes.

Baja is not only better, but is also a good value for what you get, plus you still have a warranty.

    Back to the prices....(again)

It is about price. I am trying to get to $3500 off MSRP. This would match or come close to the discount I have in hand on a Tforce. Funny thing is in Texas the Tforce is kind of unusual. Normally low stock on a Tacoma means less discount. Dealer is working on the Baja without side graphics (1st choice) or a TRD with T/X Pro pack which he had not heard of. He warned me about Gulf States and what they order. I said do not get me going on Gulf States or I am heading to Kansas.

First off, I wouldn't consider the "baja" version of the taco a baja version at all, just a marketing gimmick to get the general public to shell more beans for a sub par suspension setup. You could buy the OR package and buy Kings from DSM and spend less.

Second, I think the argument where OME is better than the "baja" suspension is funny. If you've owned both then you can make that asumption, but don't be biased.

    Third, :locked: :D
