ha! Ya know, I thought for a minute that I was going to correct you because for years I've read about peoples ACSB's or ACLB's... I had to look up on Toyota's truck builder and realized you are right - there is only one bed length for the Access Cab... I realized that the Toyota name is Standard Bed for the reg/AC, and Short Bed/Long Bed is only used for the DoubleCab. I guess I've been confused by people using ACLB. So, thanks!

And Toyota's website is lame. Not that I need it, but it doesn't even show the dimensions for the DCLB. Their "compare cabs" brings up a Tundra image, not Tacoma.

And really my need for checking the frame is because I'm lasercutting the mounting plate and need to make sure it fits right to the holes/mounting brackets on the frame, that there are no surprises.

Crap... I ended up going last night. I've gone with the same buddy since the mid 90's. This year was alright. They seemed to really space the cars out this year which was kind of nice in a way since the people weren't crammed in like sardines. Friday & Saturday tend to be more busy so that may not be the case tonight and tomorrow. A few cool cars and it was VERY cool that Nissan had one of the new GT-R's there ($100k now) and actually let you SIT in it and smear your paws all over it, pop the hood... whatever. Audi had a few cool toys and one of the coolest IMO was the RS5. One of my favorite car designs of all time but it was roped off so you had to admire from a distance. They also had the new V10 R8 roadster which was super cool but up on a platform as per usual. Probably most surprising was the 4dr sedan that was .1 faster 0-60 than their V10 R8 at a price tag of $122k. The new RS7 is capable of 0-60 in 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 190mph all while seating four adults in luxurious comfort. Very cool car. I may have broke one of the Ford F150's. lol Chevy FINALLY displayed a smaller clean diesel sedan. The rest of the world has been on smaller diesel cars for a while and for some reason the US has been left out of that segment other than the occasional VW. I don't want one but maybe someone will. The flat black Lambo Aventador was one display again this year and drawing lots of attention. Lexus has a red LFA on display but roped off of course. Still cool to see such a cool car in person and about the only thing worth seeing in the Lexus booth. Merc had the new CLA concept on display and that's going to be a cool sedan if they can keep the price down on it. A 2.0T and that styling in an 'entry-level' Mercedes should do will in this current market. Honda... jeez. What can you say? They appear to have completely lost touch with their base. $26k 2dr Honda Civic? Pass. Not much new from them in... forever. It's pretty much been the same thing for a decade or more and now the Koreans have lifted their business model and are now beating them at it due to being on a more aggressive learning curve. Speaking of, the Kia and Hyundai booths had more traffic this year then I've ever seen. They've been doing some VERY cool things the last couple of years and word has finally gotten out and it's no longer a secret. The new GMC & Chevy trucks are just plain ugly. All in all it was a decent show but eat before you go. I dropped $14 on a spicy polish dog & a Mountain Dew and then the food court nazi wouldn't let me leave with my bottle of Mountain Dew even though the lid was on it. I had to chug the whole thing before I was allowed to return to the show. I was tempted to tell him to take it from me but it had been a long day and I didn't feel like getting a guided tour of the police station.
