Smith clearly took a dive, but Edler purposely bumped him.

 

I agree Edler didn't try to avoid Smith , I also think it may have been payback for Smith's glove to the face on Daniel

Either way , I would be shocked if Edler was suspended

I would have to look a little closer but it looks like it was too the head. It probably should be a suspension because you really shouldn't mow over the goalie like that I'm okay with taking the body tying him up but Edler went too far. As for the dive comment I disagree, I was a goalie all through junior and when you get bumped and thrown off balance like that it hard to keep yourself on your feet.

Can't fault the goalie on either of them. One was odd man rush with basically no d, and second was a stupid shot by Jagr that was going horribly wide until it hit Doughty's skate and bounced in. I'm just glad to see he's improving and getting closer to his performance last season. I must admit, it's been a while since he was last playing sharp, so I'm happy.
