    I'm interested in how well this will do down the road for you. I've heard a lot of bad reviews on STS but if I do go the turbo route in the future going custom might be too expensive for me.

    I have been there and done that. With the right work, a rear mount can be a very good system. Xroller has one right now, and it is doing pretty well for him. Just needs proper attention to detail. Which the guys at STS overlook.

    Something I still need to learn how to do. Haha. But with off-roading I don't think a rear mount would be optimal.

    Last I heard from the fabricator, is that he was waiting on some material to come in. My truck is getting some final touches to be able to drive again. Then all I have to do is setup a dyno day. But I want to do the dyno day for both, on the same day. Just to keep things as similar as possible.

    I will try to get a hold of him today, and I will update as soon as I hear something.

    I have been working with SIK X to draft up some ideas for his own style.

    I haven't heard anything from the original fabricator, since my last post on this subject.

    As soon as I hear anything about forward progress, I will certainly update.

    Supposedly, one similar in design to yours, is being built with carbon fiber.....

    I've already been doing what you and the manifold spacer guy are both struggling to do. I began with an idea and took it all the way from a concept through to a finished intake manifold.

    I marketed them myself, and am using the profits to enjoy doing my own pure "crazy" R & D experimentation. (just the rough mockup ;))

    This is not a static process. One idea flows into another and another. The fun and adventure is following that silver thread of ideas just to see where they will lead. :)

    There was no great insurmountable struggle to produce dyno results, no leading people on with a long endless string of excuses why they weren't happening. I simply did the damn runs and posted the results.

    Now the gains weren't astounding, but the runs were honest with nothing done to falsely enhance the results, and the gains were enough to sell manifolds at a modest price commensurate with their performance improvement. This has bought me the freedom to experiment further... :)

    Nope. Go for it. Just because I am involved with trying to get projects moving forward, doesn't mean others cannot.

    If I had the tools to make the stuff myself, the 1GR intake manifold would have been made years ago. I unfortunately am at the will of others' time and tools.

    I'm about 2 start tig welding. As soon as I get that all set up I will do my best 2 try an make a Intake for us all. Torspd I'm building my engine as we speak an my Trans gonna be putting 15psi at the engine maybe more hopefully be Putin out 600hp

    If I didn't already have the Pauter Rods, I would have upgraded to the BC 625+Aged rods. Great price from Dezod, and rated at 300hp a hole!

    If you don't already know, give yourself .004" clearance from piston to cylinder bore, to allow piston expansion. So you don't create piston slap.
