    I carried one 5 gallon water jug last year and it was fine. If you are running low, just carry it with you when you go into town to get gas and refill it.

    I filled mine up at the actual gas station. They had a hose out front and I just asked the attendant and he didn't care at all.

    i usually bring 2 7 gallon jugs of water usually...1 for drink, 1 for cleaning and dogs

    usually don't go through both by the end of most trips

    there's also free places to refill with clean water in moab if you run out
