For some reason, of which I can't quite place, I don't see much value in your opinion on this subject.

This illustrates the problem with the " Idaho is in the PNW " supporters

    We have a first world.

    We have a third world.

So where is the second world?

    Yes, that's right.

Semantically, Idaho is most typically lumped in as being part of the PNW.

In my opinion though, the PNW should extend from the Pacific Coast to the Cascade crest. The term "PNW" conjures images of tall evergreens obscured by mist, bald eagles, salmon, pacific native American art, moss and mold, hipsters on fixed gear bicycles, coffee, and rain. I don't even think eastern WA and eastern OR should be considered part of the PNW. They are much more akin to the topography, climate, and culture of the mountain west IMO.

Anyone coming here to solve the debate really needs to learn whats goin on in the web.

I'm gonna switch sides n argue that Idaho is PNW, this time I'm going to say it was part of the Oregon territory... which was on the coast... close enough.:)

Just like California is not considered the "Southwest"... even though you don't get any farther southwest than Imperial Beach.
