Has anyone somehow made the clock numbers white? Is there a clock you can buy like this?

I'm just curious, is there any sort of benefit to running the blue seas USB port versus having this \/\/ running in the cig lighter thing? :notsure:

The blue sea one charges at 2.1 amps I believe. It's faster than a standard 12v charger that you'd get with your phone I believe. I have one that just plugs into the cig lighter that also does 2.1 amps on one port and 1.1 on the other.

    That^^^
It charges as fast or faster than an outlet in the house IMO plus you can fold the lid over it to keep spills or whatever from screwing it up. And that little coin spot or whatever you wanna call it is pointless like the clock so why not plus if frees up a cig lighter for other more removable things

It depends on what kind of head unit you have.

Yea you could use your head unit but I always have my flash drive plugged into it and tucked away in the center console plus for $10 on Amazon why not get the blue seas USB port

Cool beans! Yea this works for me, but I think it's neat to put that other port in that little coin spot.

I never even use mine, although I did use 2 last time I made a trip. One to charge my phone and the other to charge my laptop.

Looking good! You should take off the little rubber things, on the side of the cab. Will look a lot cleaner without it.

Yea I'm probably going to take them off when I get my fiberglass fenders and bedsides.
But for now Im just going to leave them on because the shiny paint under them and dull paint all around would bug me

Firestik on spring, mounted to 5" tri-mag base with 17' co-ax, super cheap Uniden/Radio Shack CB radio.

Co-ax routed between camper boot and rear window, into cab via rear window, down the corner behind passenger seat and tucked into panels. Then under door sill and up to location (CB mounted on bottom-left portion of glove compartment door) --easy to reach and see, and still out of my way. Aesthetically, it isn't too much of an eye sore. WAS going to go the ashtray route, but the CB radio dimension were just a tad bigger than I anticipated.

How'd I power it? Tapped (using 'suitcase' style connectors) the red wire of the radio into one of the red lines behind a lighter port, and grounded the black wire to one of the bolts behind the lighter panel. Fairly easy install. Total time: about 1 hr including some brain-fart moments.

    Total: ~$80.00

installed a 4Crawler 1" body lift. Small gap but hardly noticeable. Only gap I really even notice is the rear bumper and once I put my swingouts back on you won't even see it.

This is probably in the wrong section, but here goes: What makes a lift 'douche-bag-ish' vs 'legit'? Is it the wheels? is it the stance? is it the driver?

If this has been asked, then my apologies in advance... please advise accordingly :)

Many people think that any lift with spacers or a drop-bracket is douche-bag-ish.

As for wheels, as long as you don't do stuff like this then wheels are really up to you
    [IMG]

But honestly it's your truck do what you want! If your a strict daily driver, then a spacer lift and 20" wheels isn't going to be a problem for you.

If you offroad a lot then I wouldn't recommend a spacer lift. You can go with a drop-bracket lift but you'll need to change out the shocks, coils, and leafs for a good quality drop-bracket lift. And you don't want to go with huge wheels on normal tires because you can easily pop a bead.

Personally I like a lot of tire, so I went with 33's on 15's. ;)
