Looking for some ticket opinions. I got a ticket a few months ago for going through a red light while making a right turn. I clearly did and don't refute that, but should I still try to fight it by Written Declaration? Is it even worth it?

You can send in a letter but they won't drop the fee by very much (if at all) be sure to do driving school so it doesn't affect your insurance.

Trial by Written Declaration has worked every time for me. Be as detailed as possible... unless there is a posted no turn on red sign, you should be golden. Take pics of the intersection if possible.

Thanks for the responses. I ended up just paying it. I got the ticket 2 hours from my house and needed it paid by Monday. Plus I would have to write a check and with my accounts all messed up I couldn't make sure I would have the money there.

Haha I wish I owned this garage. It's my parents house, I just bribe them every month to let me stay here :) It was originally only a three car garage, or two I can't remember. My dad saw it and laughed and while my mom got the kitchen remodeled my dad got the garage remodeled to fit 5 cars. He extended it and added rooms above the garage that's still part of the house. One became my brothers and the other is a pool table/toy car room.

I don't think anyone would want to drive all the way up here haha. It's like two hours or something to Jerry's shop. That at my work schedule blows so it would be hard to get a solid day off for it.

Lol my neighbors would probably get all pissy and send out letters again. We live in a gated community full of grouchy old people who like their peace and quiet.

Ya I'm sure there's some home owners association issue with camping, ya I live in a place where there is hoa dues. Other owners can bitch about anything. I'm not even allowed to park outside my driveway but I do anyways sometimes.:D

They're not so bad anymore but they hated us when we first moved in. Got letters for starting up dirt bikes in our driveway, pissed off other people because my brother and sister drive too fast through here and other stuff. Haven't gotten any official complaints in a while so that's good.

Oh, did I mention we have a car lift in our barn? :D It doesn't lift by the frame, though. It's one of the drive on ones that lifts by all four wheels.
