    Quick Q, on the 4x4 trucks can you run the front bearing with no axles in? I no some of these bolt in type hubs require the axle to be in and torqued properly to proved bearing preload.

    No the axle is holding that bearing in. I ran my chaos kit without axles for a few weeks, all i did was remove the actual axle shafts and cover up those cv's. Meaning i ran everything minus that mid shaft.

    Nope. Gotta at least put the outer axle in or the bearings are toast.
    When I blew the outer CV cage I just pulled the axle itself out of the inner and outer CV joint housings and drove off the mountain and made it home. As long as you've got an outer axle shaft running through the hub you'll be fine.

    3" lift Up front(Donahoe Racing ext. travel coil overs, Camburg UCA's), 1.5-2" lift in the back(aal and some billy 10" stroke short bodies), Bushwhacker Cut-Out fender flairs, 16"x10" Procomp Street locks, and 305/70 Procomp X-Terrains.
    Unless he has manual hubs. Then you can run without a cv. Just have to seal it off.
