Where it sits furthest out on the roof I have about maybe 2 inches. I painted the whole rack yesterday, it still needs another coat however. I also painted my new bumper...dun dun dun.

Another snippet for y'all to feed on. NEW BUMPER!!! Mounted it last weekend, and completed the details of my lift (lower ball joints). Not so happy with the fit of the bumper, I find the TG bumpers stick out too far on the sides. What I might do is heat up the corners and bend in sides to be flush with the body of the truck. Other than that I welded some TG mounting points and blinker tabs.

Yea the TG bumpers go better with the newer 01-04 grills that stick out more.

    But doesn't look too bad.

like I said though, I'll likely bend the sides in. I'm toying with the idea of mimicking the All-pro bumper and putting those hoops on the sides, we'll see though.

Love the truck:thumbsup:. The Roof rack looks badass. Giving me some ideas:D. The bumper looks great. A little tweaking and it'll look perfect on that truck. Keep it up:wink:

the TG bumper fits way better on the newer trucks (01-04) with the bigger fender flares. Still a great bumper.

For the price and overall design it's pretty much unbeatable. A little tweaking and some additions will make it fit the truck just right.

You should put some lights behind the grille! ;)

I'm not much of a "lights behind the grill" kinda guy, I'm just waiting on funds to get me a light bar; however, I told myself when I bought this truck that I was going to do things right the first time, having said that, I'm re-gearing first, then later on in the summer I'll improve the lighting.

 for doing things in the right order! I bought so many cheap parts on my last Tacoma. I'm doing everything right this time!

Our grills are way to small for lights anyways.
