I put a trailer hitch, lights wiring, and the 2 rear Bill-stings 5100s......all went well until I didn't pick up my glasses and they got ran over. Glad I don't need them badly.

Having said that , how the hell did just one bolt get cross threaded or messed up going in. Luckily its one just holding the bumper.

Lastly, I couldn't find the 5100 rear install thread, how far down do I need to bolt down the top nuts that compress those 2 bushings? They have no instructions in the box,

Bolted a winch mount with a Warn VR-8000-s. I prefer this type of mount over the replacement bumper mounts, mainly because I like having easy access to the winch. Its all welded and one-piece, making it very solid.

    Upgraded my bedside decals.

Sadly, sockmonkey is out of the decal gig. So these are one of his last sets.

Just got a rivet gun so I can install some redline quicklift hood struts. Hope it's as easy as everyone says, never used a riveter before. Hope it goes well, lol.

It's pretty easy. Just measure three times, drill/rivet/bolt once.

Watch this video, it's a pretty good tutorial. With the Redlines, at least for me, it took three squeezes of the rivet gun for it to snap the shaft off.

Yeah, well, like always I made a slight mistake. Picked up the bracket for the fender mount and riveted that into the hood  Tomorrow I'll head to the hardware store to get more rivets and a sanding disc to cut through the rivet head and a punch to punch the rivet through.

Just use a small drill bit to cut the head off of the rivet.
