Gotta ask you though. I'm a junior in highschool, my truck has 227k miles on it. What are some fairly inexpensive (I know this is a relative term) and not major (I dont know how well my truck could handle things like that) mods I can make to my truck to make it look meaner haha? So far all I've done is new head unit and speakers. Any advice?

 

tint is an overlooked mod that makes the truck look pretty different IMO, then there's the small aesthetic things like lights. I started with swapping my head and tail light assemblies.

the main thing I have going on in the front is clear headlight assemblies and a retrofit, those look awesome on our year truck- and not too expensive or hard to do either

 

Yeah I was lookin at getting a 35% tint. Can't have it on the windshield "legally" but i'll get it done on the front windows. Also I really love your headlights. (No homo haha.) and probably this summer when I have time I'll be heading in that direction. Plasti-Dipping my wheels and emblems sometime in the next few weeks. I also love n-fab's light bars but.. They don't make them for 98-00.. Kinda sucks. Ill figure something out haha. Sorry for the long posts.

If you decide on going the retrofit route take a look at my threads, I made a retrofit walkthrough for 1st gens, since we have the same year you can follow exactly what I did for yours

Yeah.. I'm back. Definitely getting doing the HID retrofit this summer. Going the TRS route though. Even though you didn't get your stuff from there, do you have any idea what relay our trucks use? and how big of a difference there is between the regular 3five 5000k bulbs and their xb35 500k bulbs (30 dollars extra)? Also, where did you get your clear headlight assembly? It looks sick.

I was just lucky and didnt have to reseal them- you should make sure to pick up extra glue when you open yours up

As far as the relay goes, our trucks use the h4 harness.
and for the lights, I'm not sure- it'd be best to ask them directly. I'd imagine the difference stems from the branding

I have driven through snow before.

 

aside from the snow on Mauna Kea, we've been on the mainland during winter a bunch of times

we were in reno for the worst snow storm on a new years day in recorded history....and in oregon for one of the worst snow storms on christmas day ever haha

 

Also, this is the very last time I'm heading to the dealership. or at least for anything suspension related. fucks didn't even clamp my fucking outer boot.
Parents brought my truck in to get a boot replacement installed, (without telling me, before I got home) to get the truck safety checked for me.

 

I think im gonna start trolling TTORA and here for CV's and just hoard those fuckers
