Surprised how little hd employees really know though. Menards and Lowes have a lot more people with experience which is nice sometimes.

Yup, I usually have to be rude to the local hd guys here. They try too hard to push their opinion on you.

I had a friend who retired from the AF. Needed a job, and found a part timer at hd... In the lumber yard. He had never done any wood work to save his life. He was sure someone was going to come back and beat his ass for selling him crap. But, he was a huge black dude. Don't think anyone would have thought about that part

Got one a month ago that completely messed up my phone. Would turn off and on randomly. But your issue, no.

Time for my morning rant. I am not trying to stir shit, or be political or any of that crap. Just my opinion

I grew up in a small town and around guns (not personally but almost everyone I know hunts) but it blows me away the American gun culture. Reading the wtf thread this morning scares the crap out of me because so many people own guns for self defence but it still seems like no one actually knows what the fuck they can do with it. It's scary when people don't know what the rights are. You shouldn't have to go on a truck forum and ask questions like "can you legally shoot someone in defence of another person?" This information should be mandatory knowledge before you can even touch a weapon. I've seen this debate on tw quite a few times now and each time I can't believe how many people actually don't know. In my opinion, a truck forum is not the place to be 'learning' about the laws for self defence with a deadly weapon.

/rant. Please don't take this as bashing or anything, just stating an outsiders view

That's awesome that's everything is clear!

I'm trying to adjust to my new glasses I picked up yesterday...glasses that my doc forgot to note my astigmatism so my right eye sees things like they're bowed. Like the computer screen...center is closest to me and the sides are curved away  I'm going to have to have them remake the one lens...this is irritating as all hell.

A guy I went to school with had lasik and at that time the only place in MT that did it wasn't in our hometown, it was 4 hours away. The day after the surgery on the drive home he was asleep most of the way then woke up and was amazed at how clear everything was...made his parents drive around aimlessly just so he could see things

My left eye is -2.5 and right is -3.5. My astigmatism is very slight and they thought I might be able to adjust to the new lens but staring at a screen is half of my life so if I can't do that I can't wear these glasses.

Wow... Lots of HD bashing in the garage... :(

Been with the company 14 years now and I hope the unsatisfactory experiences were isolated incidents.
If you truly have a horrible experience shoot me a PM and I will be happy to help you resolve it regardless of your location. I am an SSC (Store Support Center) manager which means I have universal access to the HD systems.
There are a few things in place behind the scenes which I could access.

On another note - congrats on the eyes Kief! :yay:
