Oahu needs some water crossings somewhere.. go play in the mud then go over river crossings and wash all that shit off while its still soft. go home small kine rinse off and all good

 

It wasn't bad at all, just crappy weather for a grill out that I did.

LOL, ya deffently, now all day I'm gonna have to try and clean off all that hard mud off the truck

 

have fun man..... rent a pressure washer haha. I seriously spent 5 hours cleaning my truck when i went to the west side kaena point. but then again. my shit looks almost new now...

I can't go Sandy's today, going back to the car show with my dad, he wants to trade in his g37 for a BR-Z.

 

so after going out to my truck this morning trying to start it, but mud is caked on the alternator and battery. I found that after pulling all them trucks out, my bumper has bent at least 10 degrees forward. guess I'll have to heat up the metal and try to bend it back, then I'll have to reinforce it with a steel plate on top of the connection to where it slides up in the frame.

I have heard from more than one person, for what they paid for the ARB bumper it bends easy.

 

That's crazy. Arbs are beefy as fuck

 

I've never heard untill now. lol, but I can totally see why. After looking at it, the bumper slide about a few inches over the frame then is bolted on from the bottom. So with no reinforce on top it naturally will bend downwards. They should have it bolted on top and bottom.

 

Brought my 2006 to Servco Waipahu and showed them both DTRLs were evenly melted and asked that if it is a factory defect they could remedy. They said that it is the first they heard of it and this was in summer of 2008. Funny that customers are getting the same response.

 

Their lying. Trust me they know. My friend used to work there as a service writer...They know.

Wow. Even Servco Kaimuki knew about it. And Servco Subaru knew about it too. Everybody knows our DTRL melt..

 

I thought the bumper looked a little funny in your last pic, but I couldn't remember if it was like that before or not.

I had mud in my Alt from the last time, it was only putting out 12.6v so I lightly sprayed water and let it dry, then a half a can of DeoxIT to clean and protect. Back to 13.9 (normal for me).

so, after the heavy mudding yesterday, I am not able to get my truck started. The battery is good, I've tried to jump it with cables. and cleaned all the connections I can see with automotive electric cleaner. cleaned the starter and alternator. When I try to turn the key, it just makes a audible click noise and nothing more. I'm guessing its my starter. anyone have any ideas????
