What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Thanks, makes me want to get a real camera so I can start taking better quality pictures!

 

Haven't been on in awhile! Just put made a flag pole base between the bed and cab. (Can only be used when stationary). Hope to find a way to make a more sturdy one to be able to drive with it.

 

Tuned up the silver '04 Taco. New plugs and wires, pcv grommet and valve, and air filter. I found that I was out of throttle body cleaner so I get to pull the intake apart again. Gonna pick up some MAF cleaner and spray that out too since I'll be in there anyway.

On a related subject, the rubber (?) intake tube is covered in some sort of rough, brown scum. Can that be scrubbed off somehow? Maybe with a Mr. Clean scrubby pad? It just looks nasty...

When the weather gets nice, I get to do all of the same things to my wife's red '04 Taco DC.

 

I'm needing to do the dame things soon in addition to replacing camshaft housing plug. I have good instructions on everything but the cam plugs and resealing the half moon plugs, does anybody have a link for instructions for those two items?

 

Here's the FSM for our trucks. Maybe it's in there?

bottom part fits well. Back portion is way to big. I plan on cutting it down to size and sewing it up. I like the quality of the leather.

Those look good. Idk how they'd fit my seats in my '99 cuz I know the 01-04 seats have more padding and the ones I have a real bare almost.

 

I was thinking that I might add more padding to them. Was eyeing some 1"thick memory from at walmart.
