    ^^^ the wire is a great idea. 20+ year Honda mechanic handed me that little bit of info. When it comes to working on something I'm unsure of, he gets a call or a visit.

    Okay thanks guys. As I was changing the front tire today I drained the gas too and tomorrow i'll get some new gas and if that doesn't work I will clean out the carb again but I wasn't the one who cleaned it the first time so I'll have to try and go back to the guy who helped me. I also cleaned out the gas tank the best I could I took off the pet cock and it was full of shit I couldn't believe it

    Bike runs mint now. my buddy came over and helped me out all we did though was just change the gas after cleaning out the tank and then ran the bike with the choke on a little longer than usual. also had to turn the idle up a little bit but runs like a champ now. Hopefully still have the guy interested coming to look at it for sale tomorrow!

    KTM's are beautiful bikes. Unfortunatley my Yz250 blew up and the piston shattered and scared the cylinder and so i sold that. Im a strict Honda believer and i went a picked this guy up on friday. 99 cr250 800$ and runs like a champ!

    ya my buddy also has the 01, only difference is the power valve but they are GREAT bikes i do think. I wont ever buy anything but a honda from now on.
