    Update...first the block heater plug twice...now there's a hairline fracture in the oil cooler unit...shop wants to keep it over the weekend and pressure test the system...

    It's wierd...operating temp is normal...engine never overheated...

    I would say its best to leave there over night. Let the Shop take care of it. If they mess up its THEIR problem and THEY have to fix it. At least they're willing to fix their own problems by pressure testing it as well. Good luck to you!

    That's what I did...the shop said on Friday if I needed my vehicle for the weekend they would put it back together and bypass the oil cooler...then bring it back on Monday...but they would really like to keep it so they can test it and make sure everthings alright so I don't have to come back for a 4th time in one week...I said keep it for the weekend I have a loaner vehicle...just please take your time and fix it right this time...

    Got my truck back today...super stoked...shop pressure tested it...no leaks...test drove it...no leaks...I drove it home...no leaks...crossing my fingers and hopefully there won't be a puddle of coolant this time when I go to drive it again...the shop said I can swing by on Friday and they would do a quick inspection if I feel like it...

    Great shop!!! trucks still running strong...no leaks so far...be driving it for almost a week now since it got out of the shop and constantly looking underneath for pools of coolant...:D

    Question...is my vehicle equipped with a sensor that buzzes if the coolant level gets to low...???
    reason I ask is my old Mazda RX7 had this...
