Actually, dog meat can be quite gamey, the way its prepared, its diet, and its age also affects the amount of its gamey flavor.

You'll probably never find one if you're looking to get rid of the gamey flavor...

Is it all open or is it closed because of the forest stuff? I'd like to run stuff more in the woods, makes me all warm and tingly when I'm surrounded by nature.

How challenging? Can a friend and I run it if he's just got an older 4runner with mud tires, no skids/no sliders?

It's a pretty nice ride even in a stock 4x4.

This is just a few hundred yards from the top of Signal Peak.

Near the top picture is a spot you might have lunch at. At least stop and look down. Be sure to look at the mine to the left and in about the middle of the mountain

If you choose to go to Eagle Lakes, be aware that the trail out to Fordyce Lake is rough and not recommended for stock vehicles-some work was being done on the trail and some of the bridges last year.

Thanks for the pics and info Ian. But it looks like we won't be able to go this week like I hoped.

As for planning a trip, I know zero trails except for slick rock. I don't want to plan anything.

K so I finally got some different tires on my truck. Basically same tire but with a few more miles left on them. Was cheap. That being said. I need the old ones gone. I am keeping the best one as my spare. There are two that are bald on the inside that I am willing to give away as a spare. They'll get you home. There is one from the back with even wear and a little tread left that I'll sell as a spare for 20 bucks. At least that's what I'm asking for now, that's negotiable. Just want em gone.

Send me a PM since im not on here much as of lately
