    I thought about getting a subwoofer for my truck with my winnings instead of an $800 gun I have no ammo for. Went and priced out some stuff and it was just as much! The stuff was only a step above their crappiest one. Jeeze. I'll just piece something together later lol

    The 10'' subwoofer I had in my truck was $130 (plus a $150 alpine amp) and it was more power than I could stand anymore. I had it turned down to about a quarter the power. I'm going to get a Basslink and it will be plenty.

    Was just a Kenwood amp I think and a 10 inch JBL sub. Nothing special. Adding in the box, cord, and labor it came to be that. I was thinking at the most it'd be $500 (thinking that would get me something pretty nice) but nope.

    I know. But hell I won a grand so figured I'd pawn it off on someone else and treat myself, but no thank you. We've put together inexpensive systems before that's why I about died when they told me the total and ran right out the door.

    Twice is nothing. I rewired mine twice in one day. Total I've rewired my subwoofer setup probably 6 times. And pulled the head unit enough times that it's a 2 minute job now.
