Sounds like a nice truck ORTaco09. Did you see that black 2002 V6 4x4 with 67,000 miles the Honda dealer (old Toyota dealership across from Costco) got in on a trade last week? I stopped by to check it out but it was gone in 2 days... sold for $16,500. Dam that thing was sweet.

I did. Yeah, these things don't last long on dealership lots around here.

You do know that you Cannot figure gas mileage as you stated here right? What you wrote above is so far wrong you won't even be close.

    Here is the correct way:

    1. Fill up your car's gas tank all the way.
    2. If your car has a trip meter, reset it, or record the master odometer mileage.
    3. Drive your car as you normally would, and let your gas tank deplete to at least a half of a tank of gas.
(The lower you let your tank go, the better average rating you will get, but don't run out of gas!)
    4. Get to the gas station and fill your tank again.
    5. Record the amount of gas it took to refill the tank.
    6. Record the elapsed trip miles or new odometer mileage.
    Calculate

    1. Get the miles traveled from the trip odometer, or subtract the original odometer reading from the new one.
    2. Divide the miles traveled by the amount of gallons it took to refill the tank. The result will be your car's average Miles Per Gallon yield for that driving period as MPG.

Very cool truck. Sounds like you got your MPG's more in line with what you should get. Also, check / replace your air filter with an AFE if you haven't yet. Make sure your tires are aired up to max pressure. I have heard those rugged terrains suck on gas mileage.

Looks like you've got a lift too - yes?

19mpg's isn't too bad for a lift, big ass steel bumper, rugged terrains.

I have your exact truck, except with a 2" lift and 32" all-terrain tires. I doubt it's the bumper, you just need a right foot mod. I also have a bumper and a supercharger.

Even modded, my truck gets 21.1 if I really baby it on the highway. More typically I get around 20 if I don't really try, 19.5 ish in mixed driving.

Pick up an ultragauge before ditching the cool bumper. :)
