I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Well I lifted it up to 24" and I can get about 5.5" of up at the pan I might run it like this and lift the drive train up an inch to get 6.5" I can do that without a BL. I have plenty of room at the new frame it's just the motor where I'm hitting the snag.

you have over an inch between the tcase and body? I'd say yeah, lift the drivetrain if it's that easy.

Yeah there is about a 1/2" that i can see I would have to clock my T case down to do so and modify the motor mounts but it can be done.

But yeah, move it up as much as possible, 24" isn't a huge deal from 23"...might need a to make a custom Oil Pan setup going

Yeah I unbolted the motor and lifted it about 1" and it's so much better! looks like I'm cutting these mounts out and making new ones :)

I decided not to cut my motor mounts off the frame ditch the factory mounts and build my own i also lifted the motor about .75". The mounts are all .250 plate and 1.5" .250 wall DOM I ordered some bushings and for now it's hard mounted with DOM tube turned on the lathe to fit.

very nice, quality work as usual.

Sticking with standard hardware or will you switch it to metric later?

Standard is cheaper and all my axle stuff is standard so I'll be sticking with it.

 just wondering since this build is so over the top. Some folks OCD wouldn't allow the motor mounts to be standard

Yeah all the new stuff I fab will be 5 or 6 different sizes so I'll only have to carry limited tools with me.

I never understood why designers used so many different fasteners.

Well Toyota is really good about not doing this. I think I used 4 different sockets to do my timing belt.

You can take apart 90% of any Toyota with a 14, 12, and 10mm. Bigger stuff is 17,19 and some 8s too. It's awesome.
