    One of the bolts to my skid plate is sheared off.... Previous owner told me that he got the oil changed and they thought they had to remove the skid plate to do it :rolleyes:

    Wait what? I was talking about the drain plug? Haha I pull the oil filter out through the driver side wheel well.

    yeah, I used to do that but I find it way easier to do from below with one of the skids removed. Maybe my filter wrench just sucks :notsure:

    Haha oh, okay. Idk, I would fit my wrench onto the filter from the wheel well, then turn it from the engine bay to get a better grip.

    I'm guessing the reason your speedo quit is because the ecu is not getting sensor data.

    When you took the assembly apart, did you happen to pull off that plug or perhaps take it off using the three phillips head screws?

    If so, there was a tiny spring that went between the sensor contact and the end of the gear shaft. Ask me how I know this. :anonymous: If you took it apart like I did, that spring may have fallen out like mine did.
