    Yeah that was kind of a rough scene. Good acting by both brothers. I personally liked having Merle around for that bit of uncertain hostility that he always threatened.

    Me too...I liked Merle's character much more than Andrea's (but not the nude scenes...had to throw that in there before any comments...)...

    What did the Gov say to Merle before he shot him? I can't remember.
    Pretty ruthless to shoot him in the chest knowing he would turn. Maybe psychological warfare....hoping Daryl finds him and has to finish him off.

    Daryl took it pretty hard. I'm anxious to see how/if it changes him at all. Hope Daryl snaps the Gov's neck personally. Merle turned out to be pretty cool in the end.
