Eddie & the Truck Shop tried that and I don't think they got any real gains from it that's why Eddie switched it up

With the Defined leaf pack? I haven't seen anyone try it but at this point I don't think Anthony wants to experiment with an unproven solution. It could work but I think you have to get new front and rear hangers along with that shackle.

Matt was saying that Built Right was gonna make longer shackles for the defined kit to pull a few more inches.

edit: Max is probably right, Matt was talking about that a while ago^.

damn sucks you guys are having problems with your defined kits, mikes a stand up guy and definitely knows his shit, but in his communications he should have told you his kit was designed to cycle a 14" shock... bummer

Yeah it's crossed my mind a few times. Luckily for me mine was a used kit from Eddie so I don't have as much invested as you other guys.

I'm going to try to work more/harder on the tuning. If I don't make any headway by this summer it's out.

As mentioned a few times this would be a great kit to complement a sold mid travel build.

ahhh okay. maybe i need to go measure my truck from metal to metal at droop to see what i have.
im on stock front hangers, i dont really see why it wouldnt work? but heck what do i know, im not a fabricator haha
assuming your truck is the one in your avatar, why not just buy white glass and thatll save you money on paint unless you really want it painted.

Funny you say that, its in the shop right now. Getting some King 2.0 shorty's to help with the up travel.

I had to increase valving cause I was blowing through the shock and 75% of the Jounce when going through the rough stuff.
