The photos you took right after you finished your drop had like a tagged up wall

I thought you gonna notch the frame? If you notch you should be able to carry your bike id say just watch the back fender with the runners might start rubbing on big dips with load, nothing a lil trimming can't fix though

The deed is done, except for the blocks which should be done in two weeks.

image-1_7d280746eb9057e46006feb20dda429362865e91.jpg put her up on jacks

image-2_2681067fae86b43ce63feb0d78f602d9073be97a.jpgThe fun begins removing these baby's, steel rivets :/

image-4_b2d8f8fc0c765d66da7a265a57151078d385f811.jpg Just threw some nice flammable cardboard in front of the gas tank as a shield. (It's all I had lol) then grinded the rivets flat and drilled some of it out before I laid into it with a punch and a cold chisel with the sledge. Talk about work.

image-5_f795ef4658eed51bc00c16cab148f5b9e8b62a3f.jpgSo I got them all off except for the one next to the gas tank. Like 4 inches away. So I figured screw it and bent the bracket down with the sledge then traced out my cut since I'd be cutting that rivet off anyway. I recommend an air hammer if you wanted to remove that last one, not the grinder. Lol

    image-6_6bf44b27db170d06d0320578b1ac085d340311e6.jpgbent bracket again

    image-7_735c1744fcd3d1bf3015a6722adbcbea081e8823.jpg cut that suckah out

image-8_1db7d975c7e5ad6b944facb154ca73e383705fe6.jpg put the bracket in temp to drill the rest of the holes out

image-9_ce8493ffc77248d3a85992a3c3e56b93cce5b5e4.jpg took the bracket back off again after drilling the holes and sprayed it with undercoating for protection against rust, this is Hawaii I'd be screwed in a week. Lol

image-10_4aa86d827e3fc3a7a0197a96b33692631cadf26f.jpgPassenger side bracket, showing it how I feel about it. This side is way easier then the driver side though.

image-11_a8f15dc1c0eb61361be968fa9bb8b19ff21eb419.jpg traced out the passenger side

image-12_f9114d6ed04a968dcca49019bf001ec75f205dea.jpg forgot to show this for the drivers side, but made a line to follow with the grinder before going in for the kill.

    image-13_6d958a029712c10ddd030c24c4b7d1ad8c3dca16.jpg cut this one out

    image-14_ec4812e37e905835df087a102e5653a761174513.jpg done

    image-15_b5409643d502d089ad9d4d25f00984bd4274d9eb.jpgand done

image-16_5be4097f07d23227d09ef209af77dabce658a29f.jpg bigger blocks to come soon
