Decent little gun. I have one but the cylinder hand spring broke. Debating whether to send it back for repair or order the part and do it myself. Avoid the lighter weight bullets in 22 mag, if you have the cylinder, they don't seem to shoot well.

Thanks for the heads up but I don't have the mag cylinder. How many total rounds have you put through it before it broke?

Under 1000 rounds. I was disappointed, but it is American made, and relatively inexpensive compared to other SA 22's. The part is very cheap and I will just repair it myself. But they only charge for parts to fix your gun, no bench time, tuning, test firing or labor charges apply.

That's the thing if I wanted to dura coat the rifle in the future I would be able to detach the scope and hold zero for the most part when re attach it to the rifle... The QD LaRue thing is pretty nice but the night force rings are just as strong... Gun stuff always has so many choices haha...

Dude, that looks too chunky to conceal. Hell, I'm still trying to get comfortable carrying my LC9.

Its actually not bad. Ill get someone to get a picture from behind. The shirt in the picture is one of the tighter fitting shirts I have so the majority of them will fall more than that one.

cool. I gave up on belt clip rigs after 3 or 4 and ordered a http://tactipac.com/fusionpac-iwb-holster/
I've had it for a couple weeks now and I've done a 8 mile run and 12 mile mtb ride and so far its awesome. May be a little stuffy once the summer heat/humidity kicks in.

So what's the rationale for a pocket holster? Cargo shorts? Jeans? I'd think with casual pants/slacks it'd be a bit bulky and cumbersome. Got any pics?

Looks good Nick. Not bad for a thin guy. I carried an M&P for a while, but just felt too limited on attire.
I'm new to CC. The biggest hang-up now is going to the gym and the whole shower and locker room shuffle.

Thanks! Yeah I was worried about being able to conceal but this holster works well. I am getting my permit this week so I am new as well! Hopefully I can pull this holster off in shorts too, if not I will be buying another. The gym I attend is on campus and "guns arent permitted on campus" so I will just leave it in the truck while there. I have heard of guys using phanny packs to conceal while at the gym that way you always have possession of your weapon.

I wanted to say a quick thing, I know its a flame war issue but I need to share this for all the people that do not know.

When you are walking around concealing, I can spot most of your pistols under the shirt. They profile when the shirt hits them.

If you want to be better at concealing, use a video camera and walk around, then play back and try something different. Bend over and make all the movements you usually would. Sit down, stand up, etc.

My buddy uses a crotch holster, no profiling, but also not optimal for a quick draw.

grabbed it because it was only 10 bucks. i keep it in my jeans or khakis and the holster is just to lessen the imprint of the gun as well as cover the trigger (the cm40 has no mechanical safety, so covering the trigger is important). the gun is really small actually, don't know if you've ever seen one. it works pretty well for now until i can get a better holster that is comfy enough to wear at all times
