    lucky guess :cool: I just remember you posting pics of the last ones you found and figured they were about the same size.

    I know its rare for them to drop both at the same time - or even close together. I usually only find one random antler every once in a while. but then I'm not actually looking for them either.

    Ya I only have a few big sets of elk sheds, thats cool you've found some horn! I have tried to get my sister to go but she isnt having it:(
    Awesome! hike on the snow line and you will have alot better chance of stumbling across one!

    I was tempted to go camping this weekend - its supposed to be around 60 here - but mom wants me home :rolleyes:

    Its best if you know where the bulls had been wintering, but I would stick right below the snow line on the north facing slopes. Thats where bulls like to hang out because the snows cold, but they can still sun themselves.

    Well it all depends on if its Forrest service, trust land or Idaho state land. But generally from what I have experienced if you go far enough away from large groups of people and just stay kind of off the roads or find a little side road you will be just fine. We go shooting in the desert all the time, and people shoot in that parking lot and up there all the time and are just fine.

    So here is how bad the engine derailed, had we gone 15ft further and been going a tad faster the engineer said that the track was curved enough the engine probably would have flipped in the ditch off to drivers left side of the tracks. The relief train has also arrived lol
