Pelfrey family got a new bird dog. She already retrieves near perfect. Lot of training to do still but she should be in pretty good form toward the end of next ducks season

Congrats on the new dog. My family has a chocolate lab and he is a great upland and waterfowl dog. He is 10 years old now so we only take him on a easy ones.

    Awesome build!!

Question, how is the air hose holding up? I was going to go the same route but was thinking of using plastic tubing bc of durability. Thought?

So far so good. The aircraft ducting is very durable. I do keep a close eye on it and so far no wear at all. It's important to inspect regularly, not so much for the engine side but if you start to take in moisture or debris and it makes its way into the cab side its right where all the brains for the motor are located. Something to keep in mind.

Well, bumper and skid plate on. The body shop that did my installation had a few things to say about it:

    • They had only done a custom bumper for a Xtarra before mine, it was a big pain, heavy and massive. Took lots of adjustment.
    • They bid my job for 5 hours
    • Because they had little experience with the electrical did no wire work because of the on-board computers.

    • The bumper felt good when they loaded it and thought it was perfect for my size truck.
    • The craftsmanship was spot on
    • With the shop equipment and racks they have, the bumper went on in less than 1.5 hours (including removal of the original equipment)
    • After installation, they did some touch up on the powder coat where there were some scrapes from shipping
    • The owner of the shop decided he is getting rid of his new 4 Runner and getting a Tacoma, because of all the modifications that can be done.
    • Both them and I are VERY happy with how it turned out.
I will get more pics in better lighting this weekend

^ Looking good man! I dig that style of hoop.

If you still haven't wired up those fogs you shouldn't really worry about it. If you can splice wires you can install these. it's very simple.

05-11 tacked in. Fits great, went flat top design to clear the LED bar if that option is desired.

Thank you, Yes I do love this style. You don't even notice it, everything blends and flows with the lines of the front end.

Yep, gonna splice them up in the morning, and read the instructions on the winch as I am not sure about that one, but if I can rebuild a Ford 8N tractor, I can figure it out. Just that I don't get up/down quite as easy as i used to.
