Welcome to the club. This has started to become a joke IMO.

 

Im sure a big order will be going out soon guys, i bet troy is doing all he can to get them out ASAP. I cant speak for the other guys who are getting lights now but heres the reason im getting mine before everyone else. I paid very early on before the group buy ended and volunteered to do a review and show off my light to everyone, but my light was damaged during shipping, so troy ordered me a new one. Seeing as i wouldnt get my light before the group buy ended troy did me a favor and still put in a seperate order for my light.

 

I've heard that "big shipment going out soon" shit for a month now. That's all I'm saying.

I know this is a huge thread, and not so easy to keep track of. The above text was something I posted a couple days ago.

Your lights are coming, but the whole process was delayed because the group buy turned out to be so much bigger than we expected.

Again, I am very, very, very sorry for the delays. I'm pushing hard for the lights to get here asap.

 

I was super pumped at first because I got in the GB late but now I wish I wouldn't have. This whole thing has turned into a big fucking joke.

 

And you know I get that. I have been very understanding about everything that has happened. But when your rep was talking about starting another GB when the first one hasn't even been squared away, that really pissed me off. Money seems to be the motive here, not taking care of your customers. I mean had no idea I was even in the GB until I received a Paypal bill a week later.

I'm done ranting and posting in this thread. Good luck to everyone who ordered lights.

Yeah..... Um wtf? I still stand with my previous statement. OP, trek, I'll be having my refund if I don't have a tracking number by the 1st of April, that's this year not next year. Thanks.

 

They still are not here yet? We are going to need some solid clarification on whats going on or I will be looking for a refund as well.

 

Problem is if it is a scam getting refund could be difficult since you only have 45 days to open a dispute with PayPal....

 

I doubt its a scam. Im sure there is truth in the fact that the GB got really big really fast- faster than he could handle.

With that being said, as a consumer I don't really care. The fact that he doesn't (supposedly) have the lights in his possession worries me.

I have been patient, and will continue to be for a little while before I request a refund. A lot will hinge on what troy tells us next.

 

I probably wouldn't have shipped any lights at all if I was trying to be dishonest.

Several people have received tracking numbers within the past 24 hours.

Like I said, I understand you're frustrated, but the lights are on their way.

 

Well, I paypalled on the 1st, so he's basically got till April 10th to get me a tracking number before I put in a dispute. I'm really trying not I jump bak on the bandwagon here, but honestly, a month later and 3 lights have shipped?

 

Fractured, the fact that you're giving us the benefit of the doubt means the world to me right now.

It's a very delicate situation at the moment, and certain four letter words could definitely kill our business.

We're trying very hard to process everything as fast as we can.

We will get all of these lights to their owners.

We will not start another group buy until every order from this one is shipped.

We will be sending everyone shirts and stickers

I'm not trying to take a direct shot at your integrity Troy, its just a lot of money that has been put down. Naturally people start to wonder where it went or where it is going. I still have plans on being a completely satisfied customer in the end and continue to do business with you. Hopefully the information all this brought along can be used to better prepare for the future GB's.
