I have fished a bunch around Galveston Xmas Bay, West Bay Chocolatebay. I have gone out to BTB off High Island. I have also fished a bunch downaround Rockport Port A, PINS area. I prefer the clear water of the Port Aransasarea but I have always had good luck with Flounder in the Galveston area. Ilooking at making a run down to Galveston area around the end of May, possiblythe weekend before Memorial Day

Kind of BS; I didn't think about dropping off my truck to the body shop and I filled it up on Sunday. So I have/had a full tank of gas when I left it; bet it won't be there when I get back. The borrowed car I driving was empty when I picked it up so I have had to buy double the amount of gas this week. This damn V6 car doesn't get any better mileage than my truck. wtf?

    Welcome to the BS.

Is there ever really a "bad" day at the range? They are all better than working.

That actually isn't a horrible price on the Sig 1911s. They usually go for around $850-900 depending on how they are set up. I have noticed that the most price gouging has been under the $600 mark. Those "affordable" guns have gone up a hundred to two hundred dollars it seems.

MidwayUSA had some .308 cal 125gr JHP bullets in stock again today - for three hours. I didn't get home in time to order some so I'm waiting again.

One of the guys here did something like that a couple of years ago. He ended up sucking water and blowing his motor. Glad you got lucky and came out better than he did.
