I'd like to give a big thanks to everyone who helped me and my wife out, especially infra! We would had to turn around and head back to phoenix without all the fun memories of that crazy trail :) hopefully I can get some new tires on and some more clearance and make a run with y'all again in the near future!!

I have only been to Crown King once and that was as a kid. Do you go through the town to get up to the top of the mtn, or is there a road that goes straight up the mtn? Is it Prerunner friendly?

You can go either way. There is a road off the 17 called bumble bee which is a maintained dirt road that goes up. Or there is the pass from lake pleasant that is the trail which is dirt road with obstacles and bypasses to most of them. Its nothing like what rug road was. And only takes about 3 hours to do. Depending on size of group going. Pre runner capable? I would say yes for the most part i think. Any one correct me if im wrong tho

Looks like you guys had quite the adventure! I haven't been there in a truck in forever. But last time we were there, on dirtbikes we washed a guy up carpet/rug hill in a totally stock early 2000's tundra.

The dirt road to crown king that is maintained is defiantly prerunner capable! The back way which I did in a 2wd 4runner with a lsd and the help of traction control worked just fine, and had no struggle. The only problem was ground clearance, but they sit pretty low stock (4runner). I would say an open diff prerunner can make it with a few spots of getting towed and thats maybe. A TRD off road prerunner can make it hands down. It was only me and my 2 friends that went.

Yea this was a crazy trip, well worth every rough minute on the trail. Thanks again Andrew for everything; leading us out there, organizing this trip, helping me getting my truck ready and of course the stripper pole mod. It was a pleasure meeting all of you and couldn't ask for a better group of people to share the weekend with. I hope everyone that sustained some damage is doing well and able to bounce back right quick  Matt thanks again for those spanner wrenches you saved my ass for the way out. All and all it was a fun trip and look forward to seeing you all out at another one real soon.

Special thanks to my copilot neslerrah. The experience, knowledge and badass spotting sure made those stressful spots much more bearable.

More pics need to be posted! Can't wait to see them especially the spot where the Prerunner made it up. That was unbelievable.

I think I will need new tires before the Crown King trip. My back tires took a beating.

In that last video you can se how the Arizona pin striping are made. Hey Jason(Infra) ,
I actually took your advice and detailed my truck today , it's not really worth it.
