I have a set of these compressors as well and just due to the fact that the safety pins won't extend to capture the coil is why I never used them. Obviously made for cars with smaller diameter coil steel. Glad you got it done safely.

 

Not supprised the rod snapped considering how much they are bowing in your pic. They just aren't made to compress springs as stout as those on our trucks let alone those on aftermarkets like Icons, kings etc. Well like I said, glad that set held up for you.

Not a ton, but Friday I'm hoping to build the new reservoir mounts and get them installed and re-route the air lines to the tank. Then see what the price tag for 35's is going to be and see if I can manage a way to get those, hence the reasoning for moving the resi mounts.

 

Not sure if I'm going to make this now. Funds just went to fixing my 3rd member . Ill know when it gets closer.

Names Jay and i saw this run posted up on my club's forum (Northeast Toyota Crawlers) and i see a few of our shiny truck guys are over here. Looking forward to meeting ya'all and having some fun in the woods! I dont have a tacoma, but i have an 84 toyota x-cab with some stuff done to it. I'll be at the park by early to mid-day on friday, so if anyone is interested in wheeling some on Friday afternoon, let me know and i can be sure to be out there as early as possible.

I'll be the black 03 F350 with the white 24ft enclosed trailer, so stop by and say hi, as i dont think i know to many of ya or any for that matter. This will be the first trip out since a lot of changes, so i'm down for runnin all sorts of trails and getting some good seat time in.
