Nice truck...... I would remove front mud flaps before rub away the paint on your fender flares.

This is news to me. His tires/wheels are not too large to fit, or rub the mud flaps, so why remove them?

It erk's me to see people driving around town with trucks/SUV's, properly sized tires to fit, and no mud flaps. You know these came with mud flaps but people removed them. They switch lanes in front of me and wham throw up some big rock. It happened the other day and I wanted to slam on the gas, pull in front of the f&#!er and throw a rock back at them.

I'd love for you to educate me on why they need to be removed, other than for looks and to try to throw rocks up at people.
He isn't running 265/75/17's or anything that would rub.

    enough to go over stuff
    Welcome to tacoma world.

I got larger tires and had to remove the mudflaps after 8,000 miles so they would fit. They had damaged alot of the paint. I should have taken them off earlier. They snaged on everything and flapped in the wind.

Well, I said I wanted to be educated. I know lots of cars come without flaps. I just figured all trucks would have flaps, and I can't imagine they do not work for their intended use of preventing rocks, dirt, debris, anything from shooting out crazy fast speed at the people behind you. I also wasnt aware that mud flaps destroy the fender flares. I'll do some more reading.

Nice ride. Enjoy! Make it your own, take your time looking and thinking about mods. I've had BluTaco for 6 years and am still making mods and tweaks to accommodate changing needs and tastes.

Took off flaps with less then 500 miles. Did a little four wheeling and whenever I was turning sharp I could hear something scraping the ground. Decided it was the flaps, went home and removed them. :D

I took off my front mud flaps after I tore the right front almost completely off after having my 06 for not even a month. I still have my rear's on and I have 265/75/16's. I don't miss the fronts at all. I see other Taco's with them the front's on and the fronts bend too much at highway speeds. The backs on the other hand do not bend at highway speeds.
