    True but some rusts more quickly than others...my stock leafs still look new but my aals are already getting a little rusty.

    I agree that steel rusts. But these are suposed to be "NEW" from all pro. They look like they were rusting LONG before they painted over them. I understand they will inevitably rust, I was just hoping that a NEW product wouldn't have rust under the paint already. It was NOT surface rust, I know what that is and yes there were a couple of small spots that were surface rust.

    No biggie, just was debating on ripping all these apart, removing the rust, then re-coating them and assembling them. Then paint them again.

    I was reading in the Forsale section, someone selling their Dakars, and hating on the EXPO's. Seems the expos are made in or of India steel. So the quality or grade of the steel could be less.

    Betts make them I researched them, and for sure, they are getting all their steel from overseas.
