Are you rebuilding your camburgs? Or getting rid of them all together? When are you planning on doing the swap

So... think I figured out why my fitting was leaking on the High Pressure Oil Pump.

Took a socket wrench to the fittings, they come out without hardly any effort at all. :O

These fittings hold back 3000 PSI, why the hell should I be able to easily remove them? No signs of thread locker and the o-rings were pretty much blown to hell.

Wondering if this was a replacement pump or if Ford didn't assemble them quite correctly.

The re-assembly instructions include 25 ft-lbs of torque and green loctite. That sounds more like a setup ready for 3000 PSI.

Kidding. My Camburgs are pretty done for IMO. 50K+ miles on them, they ride rough. Almost as if they don't compress lol just needs to be rebuilt in the near future. I need new set of AAL and rear shocks as well.

    Makes sense.

We should see if we could get an AllPro spring group buy for the area

I saw yesterday that the previous owner of the OEM shocks already loosen the nuts on the top plate and I can take off the three nuts with my hand. Only thing still bolted up is the shock itself if that make sense :eek:

That would be nice but I don't think we have much active member/interest for it.

Thank god no one relied to what u said in the first response about the three nut on top. I went back in to work and thought about it, said to myself "wow, I'm an idiot.".

Mike, Robb - Dakars? I thought about that but 99.9% of the times my bed is empty. I thought about the wheelers off road heavy duty aal.

Me too, that is why I think the AllPro Standards or the Deavers would be a better option for me

You guys always have weight in the back though, don't you?

Joe - I have a slight sag with that aal
Mitch - I rarely run more than an oversize spare, hi lift, recovery gear, and shovel.

    spare is 80
    snow chains are 20
    hi lift chains are 55
hi lift is about 30 (from online quote)
totally doing a WAG on the recovery box at 125
    shovel is negligible

    so that's 310.

Unweighted I'm 32" in front, 32 1/8" rear (measured from bottom of rim to flare lip). I thought I was much worse off, so maybe front settled a bit. Maybe all I need is the shackle flip after all.

LOL why the throat and not the ear? Yeah, I'm trying really hard to persuad him and I tell him it's a easy install but he said he would rather have Toyota do it
