Yep. We were able to hit up the gas station before and after almost every trail. I took a 5 gal gas can with me but never ended up even putting gas in it. Haha

At most I used 1/4 tank on trails, but that's was on the trifecta.

I checked my MPG running Kane Creek last time I was there and averaged 10, and that was over 3 or so hours with never turning the truck off. I was quite surprised that it was that high!

me so excited!!!!! so i got an idea for moutning my spare in the bed, next to the bed rail. im gonna use an axle hub and weld it to a probly 2 x 2 square that extends down to the bed. and weld a plate to the bottom. but how do i attach the plate to the sheet metal bed? and not have the 70 pd wheel/tire wobble around? any ideas?

You need it mounted in two spots. You need a plate on the bed floor and another small one bolted to the bed rail. That will keep it plenty secure.

4bolts in the bottom plate. 2 bolts in the bed rail

should i back the bottom with another plate tho? im afraid of the sheet metal flexing too much... and the bed rail seems difficult to mount to, its small.

Probably not necessary. Just get some big fender washers.

Tony(SupraT) found an old GMC bed bracket it and made it fit. I think it just attaches to the bed rail..
