    I did it all, i cut the pattern out, and i kept the backing piece as a pattern

    Nice work, Ben. That really came out nice.

    On my skids, the mid-skid is held in place by bolting to the rear of the front skid and the front of the rear skid. Are you planning on using some kind of cross-member or going to just try and make the full set?

    That place is so busy on a nice day. I drive by it all the time because my buddy lives a few blocks down the road. Guess it's all moot until I get another mountain bike someday.

    I think I'll just add another plate on the back with some holes, and then have the front of the mid-skid bolt to that. There are also 4 studs on the back of the crossmember (by the y-pipe) that the rear of the mid-skid can mount to, like on the Relentless design.
