All I know is that we'd all better watch what we say and do around here. Dave might tell Bob on us.

This one girl, we will call her "Sarah", mostly because that is her name. Anyway, "Sarah" wanders the office answering the phones from everyone else's extensions. Quit spreading your disease and go back to your damn desk!

I hate the people who are either clueless or just DGAF and just wander around coughing and sneezing and not covering their mouths

this. no one has a backbone these days.

so what happens if say someone goes on vacation out of the country and brings back some unknown disease, comes to work and infects the entire department and everyone ends up in the hospital? are you allowed to say then that sick people should stay home?

for me its shopping carts and the debit card readers at the stores.

    :spy:

thats when you start following her around with a can of lysol and start spraying everything down...

My wife works in an office full of women, and they are the worst about acting like damn children. They drive her nuts with the petty little shit they do.

    OTG! How could you!

I think you should ban him from the garage

I work in an office full of men and they all act like spoiled brats. If they don't get their way they have little tantrums.

Oh, god, we have a Sara too! She doesn't do that, but gladly ceoms into the office when sick as a dog, she has extremely loud and inappropriate pesonal calls that disrupt a 20-cube area. And wears very smelly gross fragrant lotion that makes me gag, and then blows it all over the place with the little fan under her desk. "My cat threw up all over the bed last night because it has cancer and the vet said blah blah blah and my mom has cancer and the doctor says she has to blah blah and random shrill cute noisemaking and fuck oh dear KILL ME NOW! Try technical editing engineering documents with that shit going on. We finally got her moved to an office on another floor. Now they are pissed upstairs.
The other day, I was staring at cash change I had just received. All I could think was "vector." I may be turning into Howard Hughes.:anonymous:

Oh dear god no. Old guy here does that shit. I think it's be healthier for me to go ahead and get sick than to inhale all the noxious fumes this guy creates with the lysol can.

Our Sarah is a really nice girl, but insists on vocalizing EVERYTHING she does. "I just sent xxx an email", "I just called xxx". Yesterday she asked for one our accounting printers so she didn't have to walk across the office. She got it then complained about not having desk space anymore. She has, no lie, 3 printers and a scanner on her desk. as well as the department all in one next to her desk.

She will also walk across the office with a printed out email, on which I have been copied. She proudly says "I print everything" . Stop it for Christ's sake! I manage a goddamn recycling company over here!

We'll start to worry when you store your urine in mason jars and save your fingernail clippings.

yeah...it can be wicked. we got in a habit of doing a lysol bomb on fridays as we were leaving for the weekend.

LOL. Our Sara is extremely nice, generous, happy person. Which just pisses me off more that she pisses me off. And she prints everything too! and then just leaves it on the printer! And the best part? In her e-mail signature line she has inserted a little blurb that says "Please think twice before printing this e-mail."

    I think we have twinsies.

Thanks god we live in the age of the paperless office they promised in 1989.

Actually, when I am on a really tight deadline drinking lots of coffee, I just wear diapers so I don't have to leave my desk. :)

I thought of going paperless, but I ran out of room on my notepad for the plan.

The person that tattled on me was in fact of the female variety. She made the call right in front of me and made a big deal out of it. Next thing I know I get a call from the boss and have to leave the clean room for a talk. Boss agreed with me, but cited company policy. I'm a supervisor and I can't send someone home for being sick, some kind of "respect and responsibility" bullshit. I told the boss I didn't agree with the policy but I understood it. I told him I wasn't mad about being "talked to", but I was mad about someone not minding their own business and calling him on me. I said I'm sure he has better things to do than talk to me about this crap. He agreed.
