3rd Gen Tacoma Support Thread

So how about we start a thread of those of us who have been waiting for years for the next generation tacoma, but just can't stand it anymore???

Commmon Toyota lets get 'er done already!!!!

I for one will be first in line when gen 3 comes out...whenever the heck that is...2020?

After seeing whyat chrysler just did to the jeep cherokee, I am afraid to see any more changes made.

 

It'll be how it is now, with 1st Gen guys saying the 2nd Gen isn't as capable of a truck. Now the 2nd Gen guys will have someone to rag on for driving a 3rd Gen 'truck'.

 

Never fell into that bandwagon. I bought the 2nd gen because of the engine and how it drove (like buttah). I tested a lot of other mid-sized trucks too, like the ranger.

I still think Toyota outclasses the competition so there's not much of a push for a 3rd gen. Then again I really haven't test driven any other mid-sized trucks lately.

 

I just bought a 2013 Tacoma, so personally I don't want the 3rd gen to come for a few years.

But I wouldn't mind them to finally bring a diesel out in NA and the Hilux!!!

I'll bet you the 3rd gen has weak real leaf springs.

should i switch to synthetic and also do i need the additive to my rear diff when i change my oil?????

but i just bought a 2013 I know I will like the 2014 better or 3rd gen whenever it comes.

 

I mistyped rear....but yes we currently have imitation stock REAR leaf springs.

 

It will probably just be a big ugly funky looking truck like the new tundra that just came out. Will stick with my 2nd gen.
