Hell, I can't even flex my front and turn my wheels without destroying a fender with 35's, and my wheels have 3.75" BS.

I still have Lots of trimming and welding to do. My truck will only be about 60% done come meet time, but hopefully it will be functional enough to make the meet.

As far as Dave's Tacoma is concerned, we are waiting on the ARB and other parts to come in. Front diff is sitting on the workbench, and rear diff is ready to come back out.

    That's what we're shooting for.

Exactly, the air lockers should be here today. Air system should be here Monday. The bumper, winch and light bar should be going on just before the meet if all works out right.

Get the McMaster Carr rolled edge hose clamps, no crimp necessary, and way better seal than stockers.

I have the pinch/crush pair. Not sure if those are the ones you need. I will try and remember to bring them up, if that is what you are asking.

Any chance you can run those down tonight Dave, if they get there? I am going to be pulling a late night tonight to try and get my front diff out, so I will be here probably until 7.

Here's what I was talking about.
    http://www.mcmaster.com/#standard-hose-clamps/=m38o3u

Click down on Worm-Drive clamps for soft hose and tube.

The part numbers for the (304SS) 3-1/2" to 4-3/8" is 5574K24 and for the 1" to 1-5/8" is 5574K16. Available only in packs of 10 and 5 respectively.

They seem to hold better on lifted vehicles, according to the interwebz.

so a hose clamp works better than a cv clamp?? hmm ok. now to just measure the diameter of the cv shaft.

The big thing seems to be that they're for "soft hose or tube" so they don't tear the boot. Rounded edges, and having the tail cover the under side of the worm drive portion of the metal. Hell grainger may stock the mcmaster carr parts.
