I've mentioned it in a page or so back...

Tempos/ Eccentric (negative): Contraction or stretch: Concentric (positive) (1:1:1 is just a straight set at a regular pace)

Sooo go down for a 3 count, up for 1, flex for 1....make sense?

Exactly what Ruben said. I'll usually do it after a full bench workout then burn out with a lightish weight. Have a spotter to lift the bar back up and then you control it as it goes down for about 5 seconds. Go until it burns and then do some more. Mix it up is the biggest part though.

Then throw a couple massive scoops of cottage cheese on and some chilli sauce and you are good to go!

And if you're going that far throw on a tin of tuna =)

Yes. Everything but the flex for one part.
Thanks! What weight should I be doing on negatives though?

    On that note....

Does anyone else find themselves without an appetite after going to the gym?

Almost every time I come back home and I'm hungry.... but I don't have an appetite. I'm not sure how else to explain it.

I'll make my food and forcefully eat it, even though I can feel that I am very hungry.

Yeah that happens to me all the time, I don't know the scientific reason but I just start snacking on something with carbs, like some chips, then 20 mins later my stomach is screaming for food. But you don't have to eat right away after gym the whole concept that your body needs food right away after a workout is bogus.

It's usually 45-60 minutes after I workout that I start making food. I'm definitely hungry, but I just don't want to eat. Usually lasts a couple hours for me.

I'm finally in this thread! I started working out regularly for the past 2 weeks. I've seen results and with a nice diet. Its working out well.

I'm lucky to have the muscle memory effect as in this short 2 weeks, I feel great.

I hope to be in shape soon and take advantage of this tread. I wanna be buff as shit again. LOL

Till then, I live off of my old ass pictures. . .

    8am breakfast
    11am snack
    1-2 pm lunch
    3-4 pm snack
    530 gym
    7-8 dinner
    9 sometimes another snack

Breakfast is eggs and oatmeal. Lunch is usually some form of takeout, lots of meat lots of brown rice. Dinner is meat and veggies. Snacks are usually nuts/greek yogurt/fruit.

My lunches kill me. I haven't gotten around to prepping meals for work, so I usually end up going to a local hole in the wall restaurant and getting meat and rice type meals. I end up eating 1000+ calories during this meal.

I don't know how some of you guys do it, but I find it very difficult to consume 168 g of protein through out the day (I weigh 168 lbs at the moment), let alone more than that to steadily gain more weight.

You need more than just protein to gain muscle mass is what I'm assuming you're meaning. Protein shakes makes it super easy to take enough protein throughout the day. But they aren't as good as actual food.
