I have a couple of hand tools and a small drill that was a wedding gift from six years ago. The rest of my tools are Kobalt. My buddy is a 100% Snap On guy and we have compared his wrench sets to mine. The only differences we found were price and labels. They felt, weighed, and worked the same. He is a professional mechanic so he can easily justify Snap On; I'm not so I do not.

I have one of their pry bars. Not sure where it came from since I didn't buy it but its been in my tool box for 10+ years.
Plus it is not as easy to warranty snap on if the truck does not stop by on a regular basis.

I have never thought about that; but that is a good point.

Ya true. At least I know where to go if I do need it warrantied. And ratchets are pretty much the only things by them I plan on buying. Everything else I cant justify getting..

Especially after I lifted the front end of my truck off the jack stands with a craftsman wrench on a seized bolt and it survived...

10-20 years ago I would have easily justified buying the better made tools over the cheap "junk". Today the "house brands" at Lowes, Homo Depot, and Sears are all pretty damn good tools with good return policies. Because of this I have a hard time spending 3x the money on the same tool that I can purchase and return at the local store.

I don't remember much from last night but the fact that I needed sunglasses to open the fridge this morning means it was awesome!

I have taken a couple of broken sockets in and they replaced them; so I am going to guess they do.

As long as the wife was not mad then it was a good night. I've had a couple where I thought I had a good time; only to wake up and find out that it wasn't good for everyone. :D

    LOL.
Nothing much really happened. Drank a little, stayed up late with my wife, woke up to my son crying, then woke up again from the hail storm and now trying to relax with a cold drink in my hand. Getting ready to move sucks so a break was in order.

Still sounds like a good weekend compared to all the other weekends you have had lately getting the house ready.

I'm trying to find my "I'm shocked and in disbelief" face.

    Still looking.

I'm with Zech in this one. This would have never happened if you would have kept your green Tacoma.

You are talking about the green Taco that he used to wheel, right? I think I made one trip with that truck to Tolar when it first opened. It was a pretty nice truck.

I would refer to a higher knowledge; sensors get expensive and I'm allergic to spending money.

A little off subject but we are putting our house on the market and have to clean the garage out of Tacoma parts.
I removed the leaf springs & floor mats for my 2012 sport at about 700 miles. Let me know if you are interested and will forward pics.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1364738188.322679.jpg

Isn't that the one that got hit?

Also, today is opening day for the Rangers. I just hope the Astros hold their own and do not get ran over in their own house. But we all know how that has happened for them before. :D
