Alright, I know Scanguage has been covered alot, but I'd like to see some installs in various locations... I'm considering one but I like things to blend in. I love Pb's setup the most though. If you haven't seen it, he replaced his overhead temp guage with a scanguage.

    Anyways, any pics?

Lastly, will the Scanguage II pull the Tranny temp?

I don't think SG has figured a way to do the tranny temp yet. You can email them to find out I guess.

I mounted mine on top of the steering wheel. Wedged the wire between the dash and steering wheel.

Scanguage now has that X-guage thing... which shows tranny temp as an option, but only for Fords.

Nope! I doubt it ever will for Toyota.

This is something I've been poking them even before I bought the Scangauge. They kept telling me (and everyone else) - "It's coming, we're working on it". That was almost 2 years ago.

The last I heard was they couldn't get access (from Toyota) to the information in the computer. There's some sort of access codes that Toyota isn't willing to give them. I think Scangauge stopped trying ....

I put mine on my steering column. I'm always looking at it and accessing it while I'm driving....so I wanted it close to my drivers view so I'm not taking my eyes off the road too much.

11.9 vlt?? Wow,13.9-14.0 is my norm. While using all 4 aux. lights it will drop to 13.2-13.4.

I bought the Blendmount that mounts on top of the rearview mirror. It fits perfectly -- provides usable data and is out of the way.

It was very easy to install -- connects on the lower drivers kick panel, up the left drivers pillar, under the headliner to the rearview mirror.

No matter where you mount it -- the Scanguage is a great device.

+1 your battery is almost dead :) You should be able to maintain at least 12.4 with all accessories on, unless you ran it all day before the picture.

I knew the engine was off.... regardless, your battery should still be holding 12.4 easily. My old truck with stereo running full blast (over 1k watts) would still hold over 12.5V I'm just saying, your battery might be on its way out.

EDIT: This is all assuming you haven't been draining it with the engine off.
